Amazing allergy-friendly meals

This spot is incredible for families! The kids loved seeing wildlife right outside our jungle chalet, including wild boars and dozens of birds. The food was varied and delicious, especially the buffet. However, reaching the hotel was tricky due to the poor access road, and I wish there were better lighting on the walking paths. Overall, it was a memorable experience, and we really appreciated the warm hospitality of the staff.

Cinnamon Wild Yala offered beautiful jungle settings and spacious, comfortable jungle chalets, making it easy for me to navigate the grounds. The variety of wildlife I encountered, from boars to birds, added to the wonderful experience.

Better lighting on walking paths would be helpful.

Wildlife right outside the balcony was amazing. Saw rabbits and wild boars. Rooms were adorable, equipped with air conditioning, a minibar, a shower, and a private bathroom. The buffet dinner had great local and international options. Staff were polite and took care of everything. Definitely a unique experience!

The chocolate croissants? Next level! Every bite was like a hug in pastry form. Food was downright delicious with a fantastic buffet and attentive staff, especially Saman at the pool bar—what a gem! Plus, being surrounded by wildlife while dining made every meal an adventure!

No shop on-site for essentials like sunscreen, so pack wisely! It’s part of the adventure!

Unexpected wildlife encounters

Woke up to the sound of monkeys playing outside our Jungle Chalet. Every morning felt like an adventure amidst nature. The staff's warmth made us feel right at home.

Despite the allure of the wildlife, the paths between chalets were dim, making evening walks a bit daunting. One night we even spotted a snake as we returned to our room!

We loved our stay at this peaceful lodge! With five kids in tow, we enjoyed the guided nature trail led by Gayan, who brought the jungle to life.

In my wife’s opinion, more play areas for kids would be great.

I loved how close this place is to Yala National Park, making it super easy to enjoy thrilling safaris and the beautiful beach for stunning sunrise walks. I also appreciated the friendly staff who made my stay so enjoyable with great food options during my meals. This is a great spot for families and large groups who want to unwind and connect with nature, but I did notice the gym and spa are currently closed, which would have been a nice addition to my stay.

Nestled in a stunning location, the wildlife sightings from the pool area, including crocodiles and elephants, enhanced the experience. The beachfront cabin offered delightful ocean views and easy access to the beach. While the food was generally good, the limited a la carte menu at the pool bar was a downside, coupled with slow service due to the insufficient staff. A full-day safari was disappointing, with inadequate water supplies and poor communication regarding meal breaks.

I had an amazing 3-night stay! The culinary delights were out of this world, especially the BBQ by the lake and the incredible watalapam dessert. Plus, the safari led by an expert ranger gave me a once-in-a-lifetime leopard sighting.
